MY CURRENT PROJECTS
Writing Systems Science: An Atlas, how everything - from cells to stars to people to societies - organize themselves.
Revising my 2010 book, Men Are Easy by removing the gender bias, adding a preface and glossary, and changing the title to How to Be (Married).
Helping Peter Tuddenham and the Systems Literacy project in any way that I can.
Cheering on Len Troncale as he writes his seminal book.
Enjoying my husband's second career as a licensed pyrotechnician.
Systems Science: An Atlas
(work in progress)
This atlas introduces the emerging science of networks, self-organization, hierarchies, fractals, information, feedback, boundaries, chaos, self-organized criticality/tipping points, emergence, synergy, cycles, evolution, and origins. Each section includes definitions, an atlas definition, other names, examples, graphics and photos, description as structure, and description as process.
On Education
In 2010 after the economic crash, I was asked to take part in one of four panels at the Recovery + Transformation conference put on by ThinkTech Hawaii, Honolulu, 8/25/10. It's still valid today.
